Long Time no post!

Hi everyone!  I've been having fun crocheting scarves and learning new stitches.  I am so excited and flattered by my friends mother who is a crocheter herself, for years, and I actually taught her a stitch!  Like my daughter says (her new word) awesome!  
Eight more days till Spring break!  Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This school year has gone so fast.  I miss the afternoon teacher, it would be nice if she came back to our classroom.  Changes, Changes hm.

Happy Love and Friendship Month!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines weekend.  But lets not forget that it's not only a day but the whole month should be about friendship, and caring.  Went to Baja California for the weekend and had a great time!  Rosarito is lonely thanks to all the scare we get from the news.  It is really quiet out there and peaceful as long as you don't get into any ones business.  My family and I had a great time, we ate dinner at Puerto Nuevo, in this nice small restaurant, the food was pretty good and very economic also very fresh.  So if anyone is heading south you got to stop at Puerto Nuevo don't let the news stop you from going it is so much fun!

Hello!

Happy New Year to all!  Just went back to work last week and caught a cold great!  Hope everyone is well.  As soon as I get my internet back on I will post some new pictures.  I made lots of great stuff during the vacation I want to share.

It's been a while

Today was a great day! Friday at last.  it seemed like a long week for me at work, there are several students who are quite a handful.  But yesterday it only took one of them to remind me of the challenging year we have.  Yesterday was the longest day of the week.  This one student was all over the place bothering, hitting, just all over the place in a blink of an eye.
I also found out that our special student has been evaluated and will be transferred to another school, it makes me really happy for her to have the opportunity to be placed in a more adequate class room setting and a teacher who has the experience working with students like her.  It saddens me because she is kind of attached to me and me too her, so I am going to miss her.  From last year to the present she has improved so much and I am so happy for that.  Thanks to her she has made me realize I want to work with students with special needs, it is so rewarding.  And I know not all students are going to have the same need, there will be more challenging ones, but it is with great patience, understanding, and taking a day at a time how it will make it all work.

Hey everyone!  I'm on vacation and enjoying my free first day!  My daughters are at school and I get to stay here at home and clean all by my self yeah!  Ok I know what your saying but I had a long weekend with my daughters being a handful.  So it is nice to have a few hours of silence and relaxation once in a while, even if I am cleaning.  So I don't really have to cook a big meal for Thanksgiving only a ham, since we are going over to my father in-law's house.  Check back this week I will be posting my new scarfs I made last week.  I am currently working on a blanket and some curtains so I will be busy during the week but I will load the pictures soon.  Have a great day!
